| No mother likes to see her child sick or feeling ill,
but for this mother illness is a daily event in her household.
She homeschools her chronically ill son who on a daily
basis must battle through the side effects of medication
to gain an education.
Now she writes in to the Minute to Minute Readers, asking
for their help in discovering resources that can aid her
and other mothers who homeschool chronically ill
children. | |

| Educating the Chronically Ill |
| Dear Homeschool Moms,
I would really like to find out if there are
any resources out there for moms who are home educating
chronically ill children. Do you know of anything? My child
does not have any mental disability or physical disability. He
has a chronic illness that can and often does effect his
ability to complete school work (he is suffering from
side effects of his medicine that make him tired and cranky or
cause him to feel achy). I have a few friends who are also
dealing with this issue but have the added mental disability
so that is different from what I am going through. Thank
you for your time.
A Homeschool Mom,

PCS
Learning Magnets 90 Nouns includes 90 of the most
commonly used nouns in the English language including several
nouns that are an important part of most school curriculums.
This set is especially helpful when teaching labels. It also
provides children with a way to request objects. These
wonderful magnets make learning fun and allow homeschool moms
to teach their children anywhere in the house. If Johnny feels
sick, just placethe PCS Learning Magnets on a
magnetic tray and do school from the couch.
