Dominating a hilltop, Fort Ligonier is a restored/reconstructed fort from the French and Indian War. The inner fort is defended by four bastions and accessed by three gates; inside is the officers' mess, barracks, quartermaster, guardroom, underground magazine, commissary, officers' quarters.
