Gloria Novak is a Spanish teacher for preschool and elementary children with a unique style of teaching. Her DVD, Mom, Dad & Me Aprenhemos Espanol, showcases this fun teaching style.
The DVD consists of 12 teachings songs acted out by children. For examples, Los Colores teaches the colors with children using a color ball and dressed in that color T-shirt. (For example, a red ball with child in a red shirt.)
The philosophy behind Mom, Dad & Me Aprendemos Espanol is that you the parent watch the DVD with your child and include additional activities to reinforce what the lesson is teaching.
The DVD says that it is for ages 2 to 10. I think the younger end of that range will enjoy it more than the older children. My 3 and 5-year-old girls enjoy the video, but my older children seem bored by it.
I think it's a nice addition to your homeschool and could occupy your younger children while you are working with your older children.
