My Bedtime Bible is another great offering for children (and families) from Green Key Books! This book is hardcover (I love hardcover books!) full of colorful, adorable illustrations and, most importantly, God's truths!
My Bedtime Bible is almost 400 pages, with 365 "Read-To-Me" devotionals. These are short, to-the-point little devotionals with a few questions to discuss at the end of the story and ponder, and verses from God's Word. This is perfect for right before little ones' bedtime.
Based on a seven days per week layout, it is easy to follow and easier to implement. I know that as a homeschool parent I can read all day sometimes--which is great--but by day's end, when my children want a Bible story before bed, I am not always up for reading a long book or chapter. This book is perfect--short, sweet, yet still imparting God's Word and stressing the importance of developing a daily habit of spending time with the Lord, even at the youngest ages.
This book is a great daily read, together as a family, or one on one! It would also make a wonderful gift! Definitely recommended!
