HEAD LICE . . . words that strike fear in any parent who has dealt with them or who knows someone who has.

As a public school teacher, I saw that these creepy creatures do not respect status or cleanliness. They have the same itchy effects on all heads they crawl onto. Just thinking about it can make my head itch, and I've never personally dealt with the ill effects.

The opportunity to review this product came as my children were going to a weeklong summer day camp. One page of the parent handbook dealt with head lice. I had never even considered the potential dangers. Sadly, head lice can happen to anybody who goes any place other people have been. Yes, this can even include church, sleepovers, camps, movie theaters, parks, etc.

As a family, we have never had to deal with the torment, aggravation, and expense of a head-lice problem. But that is the whole point of this product. Grandma always said, "An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure."

Lastly--and, to me, most importantly--are the health concerns. No, I'm not even talking about the bugs or the risk of infection from repeated scratching. I'm referring to the chemicals and poisons often used to get rid of an infestation. This product comes in an easy-to-use squirt bottle. The fresh smell makes using the product pleasant. Moreover, the website has other tips to prevent or get rid of the critters. Think of this spray as an insurance policy.

So . . . have you scratched your head while reading this? Just imagine writing it! Now you can click on the link to help prevent the problem of head lice.
