Boca Beth is a Spanish/English Language Program for the very youngest learners, ages birth to 10. The "Grande Set" that we reviewed comes complete with 2 DVDs, 2 music CDs, BOCA the puppet, a Coloring/Activity book, and a "How to Guide" for parents.

The DVD's and CDs are engaging and entertaining. The puppet, BOCA, is the instructor in this program, and it really draws children's attention and helps them learn words, phrases, and songs. The DVD "My House" introduces over 100 words; the DVD "I Like Animals" introduces over 200! The "How To Guide" gives lots of creative ideas for using the program, and the CDs encourage singing, dancing, and physical activity--all while the children are learning!

Although the "experts" claim early learning is full of benefits, I am not sold on plugging my infant into the TV to learn at 2 months old. I do see the benefits of this program for older children, as I have 2 children who learn MUCH through music, singing, and visual interaction! I believe that when learning is fun it really sticks with a child. Boca Beth is FUN! This really is a neat early learning program for families desiring to start their children on a second language in an entertaining, no-pressure environment.

As the folks at Boca Beth say, "Happy Educating!"
