The Rollerball Races books ($4.99) are great little board books with the game built right into the book! I reviewed Space Chase and Pet Chase. Both books have thick board book pages with a cutout in the middle. A clear plastic cover over each maze keeps the ball in the game, and a hole in the puzzle allows it to slip through to the other side, ready for the next puzzle. Each book has a clever story with colorful illustrations and three heavy pages with a maze on each side, for a total of six progressively more difficult mazes. The books are built to take the use they will inevitably enjoy!
These addictive little maze books would be great for elementary-age kids but would also be a hit with younger and older family members or friends. We all had a hard time putting them down! They would work well for car trips or anytime the kids need something to keep their hands busy. They build eye-hand coordination and fine motor skills while engaging the kids in a fun, challenging activity. We really liked the color pictures, clever mazes, and the fun concept of the books. The only problem we had was the occasional stuck ball, but a tap on the book usually took care of the problem. If your kids enjoy mazes, they will love these handy little books!
