Sections include strategic seating, organization, attention grabbers, and the point system. Written for elementary classroom teachers, the book contains many principles and techniques that can easily be applied to homeschooling as well.
I especially appreciated the author's insights on how dehydration affects the brain and his reminder to change delivery techniques at regular intervals. The real value of the book, however, is the "strategies" chapter in which he describes his system of scheduling, use of positive/negative behaviors charts, and chore assignments. I gleaned many tips from this section and can begin implementing them in our home with a few minor modifications.
A bargain at $4.97, this e-book will have you well on your way to effective management of your students.
