Be Rhymed! is "the game of FAST times and FUNNY rhymes." From the makers of Baffle Gab, Be Rhymed! is a game for four or more players, ages 10 and up. The object
of the game is to earn points for your team by guessing rhyming word pairs from
clues given by your teammates. Clues are to be either spoken, acted out, or drawn, depending on a roll of the die. The team with the most points wins.
I was very impressed with the packaging of this game, as well as the quality of
the game pieces. The small box conveniently stores everything needed (and included) to play the game: 132 game cards, 1 die, 1 two-minute timer, 4 drawing pads, 4 pencils, and 1 score pad.
We've played the game several times now, and I always find it a rather difficult
game to play. A lot of the rhyming word pairs are hard to describe, especially when acting them out or trying to draw them. This could be because we have an 8-year-old playing with us, or because I'm not the best artist or actress. For these reasons, it will probably not become a favorite game in our home. However, if your family enjoys games such as Charades and Pictionary but you're tired of "the same old games," then Be-Rhymed! may be just what youre looking for. The price of
$14.95 is very reasonable for a high-quality game.
