Do you want to introduce your young child to the Spanish language in a fun and inviting way? Kids Love Spanish, Volume 1, may be exactly what you need. This DVD presents basic words that children can use right away. It was created by sisters Krisse Brock Kelly and Julie Brock Campbell, both moms with a motivation to create a dynamic Spanish series to engage the whole family. Kids Love Spanish has received the Dove Foundation's Family Approved Seal, a Telly Award, Platinum Award from the Family Review Center, and The Parenting Site GOLD Seal Award (for their website). There are seven DVDs in the series, and each one is 30 minutes long and sells for $17.99. The first volume covers Basic Words, and the remaining volumes cover Alphabet and Numbers, Family, Food, Colors and Shapes, Animals, and Basic Phrases.
This product is intended for ages 2 and older and can be incorporated in your school day. It can be used as an individual activity or a family activity, and all types of learners can receive satisfaction from this program. Using it in the home is the best way to present this program, but it can also being used in a group setting, such as during a play date or co-op.
This product provided an entertaining and educational experience for our family. The fast-paced and repetitious nature of the program kept the attention of everyone in the family. The music section was especially memorable. Each song was sung very easily by the older children and captured the attention of the younger children.
If you have a child that is 2 years old or older and you have a desire to share the Spanish language with them, this product is an excellent choice. You will be pleased by how much you like the program and will be even more pleased by how much your children benefit from the experience.
