Have you ever wanted to own your own construction company? Well, The Construction Game allows you to do just that! This is an entertaining and challenging board game for up to six players (ages ten to adult). The object is to become the largest contractor, and the first player to reach an audited net worth of $1,500,000 wins! To establish a company, each player chooses a home base that is found on the game board, such as "Down to Earth Excavating Co.," "Hard Hat Hanna's" etc.
The players begin with $100,000 cash and some equipment. Each player also qualifies for line of credit to get their business going and to purchase equipment and other operations (such as gravel pits, a landfill, or a cement plant). The board resembles a Monopoly board, but it is set up with the months of the year for peak seasons of operation. As a contractor, you will bid on jobs, take financial risks, make investments, manage debt, and learn how to build a business--all while having fun! This is a great family game with an educational twist. We enjoyed "digging up some fun" and think you will too!
