The Grammar Key is a simplified digital version of an English Grammar book.
I have two CD's that contain the following topics in grammar studies: Sentence
Structure, Parts of Speech, Punctuation, and Mechanics.
I really enjoyed browsing through the CD's after I received them and while trying them out, I felt so at ease with the format of the programs. I was an English major in college and felt like these programs could have been useful to me during those times as well. I have a special needs daughter and it was very exhausting going through textbook after textbook trying to find curriculum that she could use and understand without having to feel tortured and unintelligent. It's so nice because we can go back over and repeat things over and over and not have to worry about what page it was on or if the price going to be outrageous.
The way the programs are set up on the CD are simple enough that even a child of younger than middle school age could use them very easily. I love the way it is all structured. The Key at the top of each page is such a helpful reminder of what is being taught in each lesson. My daughter has never struggled much in punctuation, but the CD gave her more of an understanding than what she had from her previous texts. My husband has been out of school for over 23 years and these programs helped him obtain a refresher course in some of the mechanics and punctuation that he would be needing for his college classes. He also enjoyed using the Sentence Structure and Parts of Speech CD's to refresh his knowledge of English Grammar.
We really love these products and feel that we will use them for years to come, even for everyday skills in English. I think the price for these CD's is amazing! At less than $10 per CD we could afford to buy a set of these for my daughter and husband and still not break into the piggy bank to pay for them. I would, or should say have, recommended this program to so many of my homeschooling friends and even relatives for their children to use.
