The Only Homeschool Co-op Booklet You Need to Start Your Very Own Best Co-op Ever! is a 34 page booklet that offers advice and information for those thinking of starting a co-op. I was excited to get this booklet, since I was in the beginning stages of starting a co-op with families from my church at the time. I had participated in a co-op before, but starting one from scratch was new territory for me. I did learn some helpful information for starting a co-op, such as having a statement of purpose and thinking about what the structure of our group would be. I would have appreciated more of this nuts and bolts advice about starting and running a co-op, but much of the booklet is devoted to the author's experiences with co-ops and to resources and sample lesson ideas that might be used to teach classes in a co-op setting. If you are looking for ideas and information on the actual structuring and running of a co-op, I think this booklet is only minimally helpful. However, I would recommend this booklet to someone who has not participated in a co-op before or to homeschoolers who have participated in co-ops but would like a list of resources and ideas to help them form their own co-op.
