If you are familiar the company Analytical Grammar, then you know what a fantastic curriculum they have! I was eager to try their High
School Grammar Reinforcement: The Great British Authors for my son, who's in tenth grade this year and studying British literature. We were not disappointed! This book is designed for students who have used Analytical Grammar, and it will keep what they have learned fresh in their minds. It will give enough reinforcement exercises for a year if you do one every two weeks. It is strongly suggested that students use their Analytical Grammar Notebook as a guide when they need help with an exercise.
Students will diagram sentences, use grammar analysis, and edit works from many familiar names such as Jane Austen, J. R. R. Tolkien, C. S. Lewis and Charles Dickens. The answer key is included the back of the book, which is reasonably priced at $19.95. There will eventually be four books in this high school series, and I look forward to using them!
