A Treasury of Bible Verses: Penmanship For Little Ones Grades
K-3 was developed by Joy Marie Dunlap. It is a beautiful mixture of Scripture verses and artwork. Each page of A
Treasury of Bible Verses includes a classic painting or vintage artwork displaying childhood enjoyment and innocence.
This e-book is a 53-page PDF document. Once you have downloaded it to your computer, you will need Adobe Reader to open the e-book and print it. Designed for students in kindergarten through 3rd grade, it is fully reproducible. You can print this e-book as many times as you need for your own family use.
A Treasury of Bible Verses contains 39 Bible verses to trace and then copy in the traditional manuscript style. The e-book also includes four hand-drawn coloring pages for reward and four lined pages for use in copywork. Mrs. Dunlap did not include practice pages of the letters alone since the e-book is designed for the student who already knows how to form each letter and is ready to practice using them in words and sentences.
I love the artwork included in this e-book. Although I only have a black and white printer, most of the artwork prints well. Printing in black and white allows children to add their own colors after they have practiced their handwriting on each page. If you desire to have pages printed in color at a print shop, the reproducible (within your family) license is clearly stated so there will be no problems doing so.
The best part of this penmanship e-book is that it can also be used for Bible memorization. The verses included in this e-book are short, character-developing verses that every child would benefit from learning. I love knowing that when my children are practicing their penmanship, they are also filling their mind with God's Word.
A Treasury of Bible Verses is an excellent value, especially considering the reproducible license and the artwork included.
