This includes things like a short synopsis of the reading assignment and historical context and just what details should be included in the student's work and why. The accompanying teacher guide gives you step by step day by day instructions for each activity. This guide includes reproducible copies of the required reading material, reproducible worksheets for the student's analysis, ideas for evaluation including a scoring rubric and even ideas for extending the curriculum.

This program is great for the "reluctant writer" because they can actually learn a "formula or recipe" for successful writing. This is also great for the "reluctant parent" because Robin literally "holds your hand" through the process so that you know your not over your head. Appropriate for middle school/high school levels, this is definitely made for homeschoolers.

I liked this product because it took something my son found difficult (writing) and solved the mystery for him. I wish the program could have been longer, covering others types of essays and reports.
