Nursery Tap Hip to Toe features 30 favorite nursery rhymes set to toe prancing, hip-hop and the tap dancing of dancers' feet. The dancers are shown only from the waist down as they dance to the rhymes. The dancers are wearing colorful outfits in front of colorful backgrounds that catch a child's eye. My 4-year-old son and 3-year-old niece did not take their eyes off the television the whole time. They danced and sang along with the rhymes they knew. My favorite part was watching the two of them trying to do the beginning ballet and tap positions included in the bonus section. The steps are very easy for little ones to follow along with. This is a fun way to help build language skills. This DVD has won several awards, including The George Peabody Award. If you have or know children (this would make a great gift) between the ages of 2 and 7, this would be fun for them. A free soundtrack CD is also included.
