"A little something to do with your preschooler which is both educational and fun, but doesn't cost a lot of money." -- TOS™ Magazine

Are you looking for a way to teach your preschooler some of the basics without putting too much pressure to learn on your child before he or she is ready for school? Maybe you just want a little something to do with your preschooler that is both educational and fun, but doesn't cost a lot of money. Have I got a product for you!

Brighter Vision Learning Adventures is a program that fits the bill. Your child receives a monthly shipment (box) filled with a full color activity book with lots of fun learning adventures (hence the name), an old fashioned hard cover story book, a hands on project with supplies included, a cassette of songs, stickers, and a parent tip newsletter with suggestions for using the program and additional learning activities. The best part of this program is that you can try the first month for free.

This program is easy and self-contained. In just about 15 minutes a day, you can teach your children basic preschool skills. Brighter Vision products are full color and entertaining. There are four programs to choose from: "My First Learning Adventure (one to two-year-olds), The Discovery Program (two to three-year-olds), The Bright Start Program (three to four-year-olds) and The Skill Builder Program (five to six-year-olds). The cost is $15.98 per month and includes all shipping and handling costs. You can start and stop the program at any time without penalty. You can even adjust the shipments to suit your child's skills and learning ability, say every other month, instead of every month. If you continue to use the program, your child automatically advances to the next level when appropriate.

Basic workbooks are also available separately from Brighter Vision, but I found the kits to be more cost effective and fun to use. My child enjoyed getting mail each month and was eager to use the program. To begin trying the first month of this program for free sign up at www.brightervision.com.
