Tim and Joanne Calderwood are a homeschooling family with eight children living in Normandy, Tennessee. They own and operate Encore Ink. Joanne, who has a degree in Elementary Education, has written and designed a homeschool student planner.

The student planner is 8.5" x 11" with laminated front and back covers and comb binding. The planner is printed and bound horizontally to allow more room for writing information. The planner is divided into four quarters with each quarter divided into nine weeks. Each page for a week includes a color graphic, place for the date, and room for recording seven subjects for Monday through Friday. On the back side of each weekly page is a space for recording books read and notes. At the beginning of each quarter, there is a 9" x 13" envelope attached to hold samples of work. At the back of the planner are pages for books/workbooks completed, grades for each quarter with yearly averages, and field trips. This planner can be used with a child of any age, including a high schooler. There's plenty of space to record all the necessary lessons and information. This planner gets an A+!

Encore Ink also sells compatible ink cartridges, refill kits, ink, and remanufactured inkjet cartridges. They included a refill kit and compatible color and black cartridges for my review. The refill kits seems easy to use and the prices on their compatible cartridges are fantastic! If you're a homeschooler that keeps your printer busy, as I am, then this company will save you a lot of money on your printing costs. Each compatible cartridge carries a one-year warranty and they guarantee everything they sell. You can't go wrong with this great company!
