What a lovely product to review! This album is filled with songs that are pure Scripture put to classical guitar or piano and beautifully sung by talented women. Vaillant Recordings has obviously put a lot of time and effort into producing such high quality compact discs for the learning and enjoyment of others. Not only are the melodies beautiful, but the chosen Scripture is sung in such a way that it is completely understandable and therefore good for use in memorization.
The particular album I reviewed (Scripture Songs IV) contained a mixture of Psalms, Ecclesiastes, Isaiah, Hosea and much more. In total, there were 16 songs and each one is better and better. My children have enjoyed them as much as I have and this particular album would make a very enjoyable CD to send your little ones to bed as the melodies are all particularly soothing. I am encouraged that such a company exists for the betterment of our minds and souls. I encourage you to visit their website at www.scripturesongs.com to see the varied discs they carry. You can also listen to sample melodies and see their heart for sharing God’s word. At this writing, there are 14 to choose from and each a specialized album. From instrumental harp to song; all are lovely and a blessing in the house.
