We have found a Spanish teaching resource that my kids can't get enough of. The series "Teach Me... Spanish," which can be purchased in other languages such as Hebrew, German and Japanese, includes a nicely bound 81/2 by11 book with cute illustrations and complete translations, a CD with around 20 lively children's or folk songs, and you can even get a complete teacher's guide with vocabulary lists and hands-on activities to really cement those Spanish words. This quality series has won awards, including the "Great American Toy Test Award." My children have really taken to this series, which progresses in difficulty from "Teach Me" up to the third in the series, "Teach Me Even More....Spanish." It is so nice to hear my three-year-old singing "Uno, dos, tres" as he goes about his day, and I am enjoying another easy way to slip some learning into our full days.
