Learning about time was never so much fun !! Glory Educational Resource ( www.k2college.com ) has put together a whole series for 'Exploring Math'.....and we got to review 'Exploring Time' here in the Barthuly household...it is a HUGE HIT !

These 'interactive workbooks' are great to work on together or independently, and geared to the early elementary age group. The workbook (36 pages and an answer key;) and CD-rom are engaging and straight forward, they start with telling time to the hour, then to the half hour, quarter hour, reading clocks, elapsed time, noon and midnight, AM and PM, morning, afternoon and evening, weekdays and weekends, yesterday, today and tomorrow.........it also covers the calendar, seasons, months, days, year,...even scheduling ! This covers it all, and makes it FUN ! The CD-rom also keeps track of each students progress as they 'play' each 'game'.

I had been looking for a reinforcement activity in our quest to learn to tell time, for my 5 year old daughter... as the paper plate with the arrows had lost it's luster ;) 'Exploring Time' has been a perfect fit for this homeschool family...I am quite picky when it comes to CD-rom's and this is one I really love ...and she truly enjoys working with it. (it is even requested when she has 'free time' to play whatever she wants on the computer) Her concept of time (telling time from a clock, the day of the week--and how close it is getting to the weekend :) has improved greatly ! It is simple to use and makes the concept of time simple to understand, in a FUN way! We would definitely recommend 'Exploring Time' !!
