What child doesn't want to enter the world of their imagination? Now he or she can participate in a world they help to create through the Sunville Spotlight! Sunville Spotlight is a bi-monthly magazine for children in grades Kindergarten through six that allows them to share their writing talents with others. Features of the program include artistic works by and for children, writer's challenges, feature stories of the imaginary town of Sunville, an interactive e-mail system that allows your child to talk with the magazine characters, craft and cooking projects, comics, games, and contests.

Each new subscription receives a starter issue that describes the town and residents of Sunville. Also included are submission guidelines for contributors (both adults and children), along with the current issue of the Sunville Spotlight.

In addition to the magazine subscription, you receive a Sunville Spotlight web club membership. Your child simply imagines a character to be a resident of Sunville and the character is added to the community. Every time your child enters the virtual town of Sunville, he or she becomes the character of their own creation! Once inside, they can visit various places on a map, or participate in games and other fun goings on there. You can even order a Sunville stuffed person (custom made from a variety of choices) as a companion for your little ones! Family members may be added to the web club for a small fee. If your child is a budding writer, or just needs a little incentive to get writing, this may be something worth looking into.
